Reeve has recently discovered his toes. He grabs them all the time, and occasionally gets them in his mouth. Our neighbor gave him some ducky feet to help him notice his toes more. He loves them!

A friend of Allison’s family, Carol August, bought Reeve this very stylish winter coat. We were so excited when he finally could fit in it. And boy do we need it in this climate!

We watched the Obama Inauguration from the comfort of our living room with our friend Bryce. We remembered about halfway through to put on Reeve’s White House bib. It says, “White House, Future President” and has the Presidential seal!

A friend of ours lent us this chair called a Bumbo, which helps babies that are just starting to sit up to, well, sit up. Here is Reeve enjoying it!

Hanging out with the Coleman cousins, we took lots of pictures with Charlotte and Susan:

We also had dinner with Rob’s friend Maria (and others, but sadly no pictures):

After spending a few days with Allison’s family, we took Amtrack a few hours away to see Rob’s family. Rob’s mom took Reeve into her arms as soon as we got off the platform and could hardly let him go for four days! Who can blame her?

We got to Grandma and Grandpa Coleman’s house, and Reeve giggled a bit for them:

Then we had a present exchange with the Coleman cousins:

The Manleys threw a brunch so everyone could come and meet Reeve. Here are a few pictures:

We went back east for Christmas to visit the grandparents: first Allison’s, then we took the train down to visit Rob’s family. Reeve was an amazing traveler! We barely made the flight out due to blizzard conditions in Chicago, and were stuck in the airport for hours. Reeve was cool as a cucumber! Daddy showed him the planes:

When we finally made it, Grandma Manley showed Reeve the Christmas tree:

Then we took him to a Christmas eve party at my parent’s friend’s house. Rob’s mother sent a fantastic Santa suit for him to wear. So cute!:

Christmas morning we opened gifts and had a good time:

Christmas Day eve we had dinner with my parent’s friends, and Reeve tried a taste (a drop off of Rob’s pinky finger) of a very fine Dom Perignon. We figured his first wine should be a very, very good one:
