There are few things Reeve likes more than dirt and trucks . . .

. . . except getting them all to himself.

In one of the last snowfalls of the year, daddy and Reeve made a mini-snowman:

Here are some of Reeve’s favorite phrases:

“That not nice.”
“I don’t like it.”
“All aboard!”
“That silly.”
“____ right here.” as in, pasta is right here, the cat is right here.
“Mommy play train?”
“want apple sauce very high up.” ie: he wants apple sauce from the high pantry shelf

Reeve is undeterred by 2+ feet of snow. He made a snowman, and fed it some snow.

This is a video from November-ish 2010. Reeve can do this weird thing with his mouth where he can talk out the sides. We cannot replicate this at all ourselves, and we have no idea where he picked this up, but he will just randomly do it every once in a while. I was thrilled to capture it on film.

Reeve had his first swim class at our local pool today! Mommy got in the water to help Reeve learn the fundamentals of safely getting in and out of the water, blowing bubbles, kicking, floating on his back, and just getting used to being in so much water. The teacher used noodles, toys, songs and kickboards to help the little ones get motivated. He had a blast!

We got a bunch of pictured taken of Reeve for the 2010 christmas card. But we didn’t think they were as cute as some ones that were taken late this summer when he was having fun in a mud pile. We went with the mud shots in the end. but since the others were cute too, we’re posting all of them here.

We went to the Kohl Children’s Museum this week. Reeve had a blast with all the different types of activities: a water room, a music area, trains, etc.
