For some reason, Reeve is fascinated by the Lichtenstein poster of “Crying Girl” in our kitchen. He will stare at it for a good half hour, and frequently talk to it. Future pop artist, or future therapist?

Reeve is just starting to really smile and coo a lot.

And he likes to read Green Eggs and Ham with daddy.

Reeve loves to try to stick his entire fist in his mouth. He’s very partial to the left fist.

Reeve was a bit too young to head down to the huge crowds at Grant Park to see Obama’s fantastic speech on Election Night. So we watched the historic moment from home.

Bryce came over one Saturday to help us with some stuff around the house. Bryce tried to change one of Reeve’s gDiapers, but he didn’t realize that you had to put an absorbent insert into the plastic liner first. Whoops. So Reeve pooped right into the non-absorbent plastic liner.

The next time he changed a gDiaper, it was such a success, they could safely nap together, accident-free.

Reeve’s hands get cold at night, but he can never sleep with them tucked into the blanket. Thank goodness for these jammies where we can fold over the little hand pockets to keep his fingers from freezing.

We got a great onesie from Aunt Karen, and a cute kitty cap from Aunt Laura, and Reeve was all set for Halloween!

And luckily, we have a black kitty to make Halloween complete:

We took Reeve to Northbrook Ice Arena to visit Allison’s skating crew. Dana (in the blue) was the one who generously gave us all the tons of loaner clothes and other items.

Reeve is only six weeks old and is really pretty good at holding his head up. We’ve been putting him on the “tummy time” pillow that came with the activity mat for just a few minutes each day to help him build up strength. Today he was smiling at Rob while doing his little workout:
