Labor Day weekend found us with lots of activities! The Manley grandparents came to visit and celebrate Reeve’s 4th birthday, and they were very helpful in getting the place ready for the onslaught of children about to descend upon us! We had hired a small petting zoo, but they cancelled. Luckily, the weather was good so we set up art supplies, the train table, balls and trucks, and sidewalk chalk. Our next door neighbors even let us use their trampoline! So the kids were perfectly happy to play, have pizza and cupcakes. And the moms and dads could enjoy beer and wine too.
